sCompletely rebuilt in 2000 and provides 62 Long-Term Care Beds in private and basic rooms. Hyland Crest is deeply committed to creating a true home-like environment where resident’s feel safe, respected and valued. Care is centred around each individual’s needs, preferences, and life story, rather than routines alone. The Hyland Crest team focuses on meaningful relationships, dignity, and choice, ensuring residents are supported not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well. The goal is to make every day feel comfortable, familiar, and purposeful – Just Like Home.
Hyland Crest is supported by a multidisciplinary care team that includes Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses and PSW support around the clock. Dr. Micheal Armstrong is the Medical Director for Hyland Crest. Nurses provide clinical oversight, medication management, and coordination of care, while PSWs deliver hands-on daily support focused on comfort, safety and dignity. Other key care team members at Hyland Crest include our Nurse Practitioners, activity aides, dietary staff including a registered dietician, physiotherapy team, and support services staff.
