About HHHS
Optimizing Health and Wellbeing in Haliburton County
The HHHS Haliburton site includes 15 patient beds in their Acute Care and Emergency Department, serving both in-patient and out-patient requirements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site also includes 2 beds in the Palliative Care Centre, along with Radiology, Physiotherapy, and the main Administration offices. Highland Wood, a 30-bed Long-Term Care facility is located at the Haliburton site of HHHS, and Community Support Services is adjacent to the hospital, just across the parking lot.
Programs that will remain in operation at the HHHS Minden site include outpatient X-ray, Bone Densitometry and Physiotherapy by appointment. Program offices for HHHS Supportive Housing and the Diabetes Education Network are located on the second floor in the Community Health area. Hyland Crest, a 62-bed Long-Term Care facility is an integral part of the Minden facility. Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network offices are also adjacent to HHHS Minden at 8 Winchester Street.
