Visit the ‘Caregiving Strategies’ site from the Regional Geriatric Programs of Ontario to access a wide range of educational materials, including strategies to care for yourself, social engagement, staying active, nutrition, medication management, and more.
Sign up for ‘Powerful Tools for Caregivers’ online workshops provided by the Central East LHIN. Over the course of six weekly classes, caregivers develop a wealth of self-care tools and receive a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook.

Are you a caregiver in need of assistance to undertake and maintain your caregiver role? Join us the 1st Wednesday of every month from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the Minden, Auditorium (Door by entrance of Hyland Crest, Long Term Care). Caregiver Support Group
HHHS also offers a Caregiver Support Group to support caregivers of all kinds. This program is being re-designed and more information will be shared in the fall of 2023.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers
This is a free six-week workshop for Caregivers that can give you the skills to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. The next series happens with HHHS - online using zoom from August 10 - September 14, 2023. Pre-registration is required - call 1-866-971-5545.
