Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy will help you regain strength and mobility to maximize your function, independence, and ability to carry out your usual activities. Physiotherapists will assess and treat a wide range of conditions, illnesses, or injuries that are affecting your daily life. The occupational and physiotherapy assistants work with the physiotherapists to provide individualized care tailored to your specific concerns and lifestyle.
The Team
Our team works between Haliburton and Minden and includes three physiotherapists and three full-time and one casual occupational and physiotherapy assistants. We cover outpatient physiotherapy clinics, acute care at Haliburton Hospital, and long-term care at both Highland Wood and Hyland Crest. Our occupational therapist covers various areas including admission avoidance in the Emergency Department and the Falls Prevention Program.
