Staffed by physicians, nurses, and medical radiation technologists, the Haliburton Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Easily accessible in the town of Haliburton, the Emergency Department can be accessed by car, ground ambulance transportation, and by the on-site heliport as needed. The heliport provides increased access for emergency patients arriving at and departing from the hospital by air.
In the event of an emergency, dial 911 or proceed immediately to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital.
Transfer Information
Please note that in some cases, a patient's care needs may require additional resources or treatments that are not offered at HHHS. In those cases, the attending physician and staff will work with the patient/patient's family/support team to arrange transportation, as available.
Transportation offerings could include EMS (ie. ground or helicopter), transfer service, private vehicle, or taxi. These transportation offerings are based on availability and patient acuity.
