Privacy and Confidentiality at HHHS
HHHS Privacy Office is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information under the custody or control of the HHHS, in accordance with Ontario's Health Information Protection Act, public expectations for the privacy and internationally accepted fair information principles. The Health Information Protection Act, comprised of both the Personal Health Information Protection Act and the Quality of Care Information Protection Act, came into effect on November 1, 2004.
