Dear Community,
On September 30, 2024, the Haliburton Pine Ridge District Health Unit declared Hyland Crest Long Term Care Home to be in an Unknown Respiratory Outbreak. We are pleased to announce that the outbreak has now been declared over.
Please be reminded of the importance of hand hygiene. Washing hands thoroughly and/or leveraging HHHS-supplied hand sanitizer helps stop the spread and keeps us all safe.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Tina Amodeo Administrator (x2249) or Katelyn Amodeo ADOC/IPAC Lead (x2275) any time.
A HUGE thank you to the team for all that they do to support our residents, families, and team. Your professionalism and expertise is second to none, and directly impacts the health and wellbeing of our Community!
Thanks so much,
Jennifer Burns West
Chief Nursing Executive, HHHS
